We are proud to announce that ACARE has partnered with ITACA, the Italian Network for Hereditary and Acquired Angioedema. ACARE and ITACA share common interests, and members of both networks are expert centers for all forms of angioedema and can diagnose, certify and treat HAE as well as angioedema due to acquired C1INH-deficency, contact system activation and mast cell degranulation.
ACARE and ITACA centers employ a multidisciplinary approach and are able to address any clinical needs in pediatric and adult populations. From now on, ITACA will guide their member centers in becoming ACAREs and audits will be conducted jointly (with final approval by the ACARE Steering Committee).
We are looking forward to this undoubtedly fruitful collaboration and to gaining many new ACARE centers in Italy.
